Venus: Chapter 56

Chapter 56 starts with Venus trying to invite Caden McDonald over to the lot. She met him back in the last chapter at the Museum in Willow Creek. For some reason Caden is sad and just sits outside on this bench. I had them form a group and tried to get them to go places together but he just sits here.

I finally sent Venus to talk to him only have him get up and walk away. She did a friendly introduction with this guy instead. His name is Daniel Jones. Unfortunately, he had to leave shortly after.

Venus finally tracked down Caden. He was responding well to her flirting at first.

He seemed to like Venus’s flirty poses.

She even used her new beguiling trait for good measure.

For some reason things suddenly turned awkward between them. I thought maybe it was because they were outside in public. Not everyone likes PDA.

Speaking of which, while they were outside Venus’s daughter Alya went jogging by. It looks like Alya is now an Elder. This means we will be getting death notifications soon.

Venus eventually got Caden back to the lot. He was still feeling uncomfortable and tense and things were not going well.

But Venus eventually got things turned around. He accepted her rose, did some flirting of his own, and held her hand.

It took a lot of work (and time) but they were eventually able to share a first kiss.

Venus is eating for two!

Caden did not take the news well that Venus was pregnant with his child.

But he did pose for a selfie with her before leaving the lot.

It is Sunday, so while Venus was busy with Caden, the rest of the family was skill building. Miram worked on her mixology skill for both her barista job and mixologist aspiration.

Nash worked on his typing and completed his aspiration.

Orion worked on a school project to increase his mental skill for his aspiration.

Ophelia played on the monkey bars to increase her motor skill while Osiris practiced her lines for drama club and worked on creativity.

I knew this was coming. In the middle of the night we received the notification that Venus’s son Atlas had passed away.

Despite being really sad over the death of a brother she never met, Miram came home promoted to Latte Artiste.

While the kids were in school, Venus tended to baby Perseus.

Venus then completed a sad painting.

Miram and Nash both came home with As in school.

Ophelia brought her nephew Steven home from school. Steven is Fornacis’s son. He is sad because the uncle he never met died. Ophelia did her best to cheer him up.

This also gave Venus the opportunity to finally meet her gandson.

Osiris came home with a promotion to Line Learner. I am not sure if I will keep her drama club as a teen but for now it has been a great way for her to build creativity for her aspiration.

I thought I was going to be able to age up Miram because she has an A in School and reached the top of her teen barista job BUT none her character values were in range for a positive trait. Therefore, she does her homework and extra credit to bring up her responsibility.

It took doing her homework, extra credit, and brushing her teeth twice but Miram is finally in range to earn the responsible trait.

Miram and Nash both blow out their candles.

Here is Nash pre-CAS makeover. He will get his makeover once Perseus ages into a toddler.

The family sat around the table together for cake.

Venus and Miram then posed for their mother/daughter Selfie. Miram added Art Lover to her traits and took a job in the culinary career. She is living with several of her older siblings.

The next day while the kids were in school, Venus invited over Daniel Jones. She met him a few days prior outside the community board. The pair played some chess together.

And of course did a little flirting.

By the time Daniel left they were able to share their first kiss.

After schools Orion completed another project and then started working on creating emotion potions.

Osiris came home with another drama club promotion. I didn’t take a photo but Ophelia was practicing her typing on the laptop.

Later that night, Perseus aged into a toddler. He has the independent trait which is amazing.

We were finally able to give Nash his makeover. He added loves the outdoors to his traits and has the Collector aspiration.

The next day while the older kids are in school Perseus uses the potty by himself (love independent toddlers) and then spends the morning babbling/hugging Bun Bun. He earned one potty and three communications skills.

Meanwhile, Venus works on her knitting.

The afternoon was spent working on Flashcards. I learned a trick – if I have the toddler ask for Potty, a Bath, or Flashcard help then I don’t end up with angry toddlers who don’t want to be told what to do or angry adults from being around a defiant toddler. Flashcards go well and Perseus gets to thinking skill level 2.

After school, Osiris and Orion worked on school projects. Orion had completed his already but since projects don’t help with Motor skill I let him did Ophelia’s while she played Keyboard Commander.
